Entry requirements
A four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with a minimum B+ (76% at UBC) average in the applicant's third and fourth-year courses. Applicant must also have a minimum B+ (76% at UBC) average in your prerequisite courses as described : one course in Programming (3 credits), one course in Probability and/or Statistics (3 credits) AND, one course in Calculus (3 credits) OR Linear Algebra (3 credits). NOTE: Completion of a course in both calculus AND linear algebra is strongly recommended. A 3-year degree with a first class division is accepted if the awarding institutions have been accredited by India’s National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of A or better OR The awarding institution is designated an Institution of National Importance, such as the Indian Institute of Technology. It is encouraged that, applicants with professional work experience to apply. Additional requirement : One page letter of intent describing student's data science experience and interest in this program.Resume or CV detailing your qualifications and experience and one letter of recommendation.
