Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to prepare for IELTS?
Most students need 6–12 weeks of focused preparation to move one full band. Starting from band 5, reaching band 7 typically takes 3–4 months.
How many times can I retake IELTS?
As many times as you like — there is no limit. Most universities accept your best score within the last two years.
IELTS Academic vs IELTS General Training?
Academic is required for undergraduate and postgraduate study abroad. General Training is for immigration (PR) and work visas — not accepted for university admission.
Can universities see all my IELTS attempts?
No. You choose which score report to send. Universities only see what you submit to them.
