A student must have completed a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) or a Bachelor of Science (Honours) with a minimum of 60%, or a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), or a Postgraduate Diploma in Science that includes Earth Sciences with at least 45 points in Geology, or an undergraduate degree in Science or Engineering along with three years of relevant work experience as approved by the Dean of Science.
