Entry requirements
Minimum Overall average of 75% in tha All India Senior School Examination (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) with a minimum of 70% in English. The scores are calculated on the best four academic subjects excluding local languages and non-academic subjects. Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) – State Board Examination an overall average of 80% or higher with a minimum of 70% or above in English. There are no subject requirements for entry into first year at Otago, but University strongly recommend students to take chemistry, biology and maths.
