Entry requirements
Entry to the program begins with Laurier’s Bachelor of Music. After completing two years of study, eligible students can apply to move into the BMT program for their final two years. Admission requirements also include a 1-2 page written letter of intent, current resumé, and an individual audition (including performance, self-accompaniment, and improvisation). And, Interview with the Music Therapy faculty. The purpose of the audition and interview is to assess applicant's musical, academic, interpersonal and self-reflective skills and applicant's readiness for the Music Therapy program and clinical work.
